Opening

In May 2024, Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci (Parks and Public Property) announced six new pickleball courts plus two reconstructed tennis courts at Owens Field because DeMuro Park was overflowing. The township posted that the courts were open as of June 25, 2024 (grand opening date TBD at that time).

There isn’t a founding saga. Straightforward capacity expansion in the coverage. Permanent nets and lines; listings also mention restrooms, water, lighting, and wheelchair access.

DeMuro was packed. Owens answered with six.
