About
Same game.
Different courts.
Meet in the middle.
Most pickleball communities form one park at a time. You learn the regulars, settle into your games, and before long, those are just your courts.
Battle of the Parks is a reason to leave them.
The idea is simple: represent the park you call home, play against people from courts you might never visit otherwise, and meet more of the pickleball community around you.
The rivalry makes it fun. The point is getting people together.
Why parks?
You don't need to belong to a club to belong to a pickleball community.
Public courts already have their own regulars, personalities, rivalries and reputations. Battle of the Parks gives those communities a team to play for and a reason to cross paths.
Come defend your courts. Meet the people two towns over. Maybe play with them next Tuesday.
Get out of your usual circle. Claim your park.
