Origin

Fort Lee’s pickleball home is William T. Birch Park, not the Historic Park cannons and bridge overlook. The borough’s 2026 Pickleball Court Rules are blunt: there are 8 pickleball courts at William Birch Park. Older directory listings of four courts with portable nets are outdated.

There isn’t a founding saga. This is municipal recreation: structured social play and resident windows. Across the George Washington Bridge from Manhattan, Birch runs as a managed hub.

Eight courts. Free. Rotation enforced.
